2017 will be the biggest year for conventions as the Dark Knight PH (TDKPH), the premier Batman group in the country, will hold the biggest Batman fan gathering event called, BatCon on June 3, 2017 from 9AM to 6PM at Centris Elements, Quezon City. BatCon is the inaugural gathering event of TDKPH and was made possible with the help of ETON Centris.
There will be a lot of local comic book artists, sellers, and people from the geek community. BatCon focuses on building strong relationships between the different fandoms in the community by promoting the different aspects of collecting and the geek community.
You can expect a lot of panel discussions, games, and raffles during the event. Bargain items will also be available and are not limited to Batman merchandises alone.
Proceeds of the event (P50 entrance fee) will be donated to Haribon Foundation’s research about building new habitats for endangered fruit-eating bats in the provinces.
BatCon is the main event of ETON Centris’ First Hobbies Expo. Simultaneously happening during the event are R/C car racing, car exhibits, motorcycle air art exhibits, arts & crafts sessions, baking sessions, gardening talks, travel photography exhibits, calligraphy sessions, and painting sessions among others.
This will be so much fun! Gotham paved its way to the Philippines' first-ever Batman convention--- BatCon!
